Research focus
The Health and Population research group investigates the links between health, health care, demography and socio-economic conditions. Our research projects shed light on possible public policies aimed at improving the health status and economic activity of the population. In our research, we use Hungarian and international administrative data, supplemented with domestic and foreign questionnaire data.
Our research projects are organised into three broad topics:
1) childhood health and maternity
2) health and patient pathways during active ages
3) health and economic activity at older ages
