Supply chains are truly everywhere. This is especially true for the agribusiness sector. Well, first there was a general concern about how one single firm operates. Then, there was a shift in focus from the single firm to two firms influencing each other. Even later it became obvious that it is not just one or two elements going on; there are a lot more elements. So no more have we this extremely simplified view. We understand the agribusiness sector in a much more complex way. Everything is interdependent, everything is integrated, everything is interconnected. In this research, we focus on embodied leadership for improving supply chain performance and relationships in the agribusiness sector. Why embodied leadership? Because supply chain actors can be considered in a way that both their body and their mind are aspects of one phenomenon.Neither their body alone, or their mind alone, and not even the two together, linked or parallel, but the inseparable, interactive ‘bodymind’. There is no body without mind, no soma without psyche, therefore in approaching a human body we are also approaching a human mind.
